Happy Birthday to Megan (AKA P.G.)
Today is Megan's Birthday and I just wanted to take a minute to wish her a happy birthday! Megan is amazing! She is a multitasker as you can see below, she is a professional text messager, she is always willing to help, she encourages me, and believes in me when I may not! She is a great softball player, heck I would say she is the star of the team! Megan thanks for being my friend you are seriously THE BEST!
Oh and Megan has always been important, just don't call her President Grasteit ;) Or you will face the wrath of Megan! Trust me I know! Love you Mego!

Bonfire Fun and Tire Drama
Last night a few friends from the ward decided to go up to the canyon and have a bonfire. I had no other plans so I decided to go ahead and go up with Jun. We got a tad lost and then luckily I still had cell phone service and Jennifer and Becky came out and we followed them back up. We went hiking into the canyon and found an open spot and started our fire. Then some psycho guy who was sleeping in a tent freaked out and told us to move somewhere else. We had a great fire going at that point too! So we put the fire out and headed back to the parking lot. We met up with some other people from the ward and then went and were able to find an open spot at a different part of the canyon. It was a ton of fun and good memories! We noticed that Becky's tire had picked up a nice sized Bolt head. She started to drive down the canyon on it but it popped out and the tire went completly flat just before Vivian Park so we changed the tire on the side of the road, luckily Brandon came up so he was able to supervise and teach us all what to do. Rashae learned how to hold the flash light;) Jana did most of the jacking up of the car.

Putt Putt and Sushi
I finally was able to fulfil a major sushi craving that has been going on for a long time! This afternoon Marissa came over to visit before she headed back to West Jordan and we decided to go Putt Putt and then grabed some dinner at the Happy Sumo. I now know where to get good sushi in Utah! I thought I was going to have to wait until I went to California next week but happy day I don't!

Manti Road Trip
Yesterday was a lot of fun! Jun and I made the trip to Manti to do a session at the temple. Manti really is in the middle of nowhere land. After traveling through the canyon for a while and passing through some interesting little towns we came to Manti! I am glad I finally went I have been talking about going to Manti since I got home from my mission and now I can cross it off the list of things I want to do. We came across many interesting places and signs but I am pretty sure this was one of my favorites!
Another one bites the dust... Literally
Another softball game has come and gone and we are still winless! I don't even know what the score was this time, but probably like 100-3. The game tonight took a scary turn when Jun went down while running for first base! Following the game there was a reenactment of the incident! Luckily she only ended up with a small black eye and a case of whiplash. One of the other team members took a couple ground balls to the face but she is a beast and it didn't seem to phase her much! Last softball game is tonight! I am just hoping that enough people show up that I don't have to play and that maybe we will come away with a win! A girl can dream! I am looking forward to tonights game because the "BABES" tshirt is making its debut! Oh yes!

Running With MY Angels
Yesterday was a day I will never forget! I had the chance to do the Running with Angels 5K! I am so glad that I pushed myself to sign up for it and to actually show up and do it. I don't think I have been as nervous as I was in a really long time! The race started and I was freaking out! What the Heck was I thinking! I just kept telling myself I could do it and pushed on. Everytime I thought I couldn't do it anymore I would see something or something would come to my mind and I kept pushing on! I would see one of my friends running past me and wave and keep pushing on! One of my favorite memories was the time right after mile 2 when the sprinklers were on and I saw a rainbow in the water and I just smiled and sang the stinking "Rainbow" song for the next couple minutes! Then when I made it to the end of the race and turned towards the finish line there were MY running Angels Megan, Jerilyn, Misty and then Michelle was at the finish line to greet me! I am so lucky to have amazing friends who support me and Love me! I honestly do not know if I would have been able to accomplish this goal without the help of my Friends and Family! My family was fantastic Mom tried to talk me out of it at first but after assuring her I really was sure about it jumped on the bandwagon and was a huge motivator! Thanks to Marissa and Kimmy for the encouraging text messages and for being so fantastic! So the Goals of the Running With Angels 5K were accomplished suprisingly! I thought for sure that I was not going to finish in under an hour but I guess my Ipod had the wrong time or something because when I crossed the finish line the time said 50minutes ish. I will post the official time later! I can't wait for next year and the next race!

Just got back from the BYU vs UofU baseball game! I will post pictures later gotta go to bed now because tomorrow morning I will be "running" my first and possibly last 5K. What the heck was I thinking??? My goals are to finish in less than an Hour and not to be last! Alright I am off to bed!
"Sports" Night
Last night was ward sports night. After 1 inning of Kickball and 2 games of "Down by the banks" we decided we were done with the "sports". Instead we walked over and tried to visit Bishop Roberts, he wasn't home so instead we popped in and said hello to the Thayers! Oh my goodness they are perfect for each other! After loading up on way too many Tootsie Rolls we noticed that the Bishop had come home. So we went over to say hello, and ended up sitting on the back porch with Sister Roberts and Bishop and laughing and telling stories. Oh and maybe there was some Creamies involved! It was a really great night!

It has been a blogging long time!
I have been a slacker lately and have not done a very good job keeping the blog up to date! It is definitely not for lack of fun filled events! So... instead of trying to back track I am going to just run through some of the more important things that have happened! Here we go!
1. Bridal Shower for Sister Livingston (Andrea): Oh my goodness! I am not sure I will ever be able to get over the sheer horror of breaking open the pinata and seeing candy fly along with what seemed like 100s of condoms! Awkward!!!
2. Ward FHE/Opening Social! I am not sure I will ever be able to eat Mayo again! For sure No more mayo packets for me!
3. The batting cages! I swear I saw my life flash before my eyes while I swung the bat to prevent myself from dying by attack of the killer softballs! Slow pitch my butt! BBF!!!
4. First Softball game! I so did not want to play! I was just trying to be nice and show up to support and if needed due to lack of other eligible players then I would step in to some non important never hit to position! Yeah we lost! I blame myself completely for the loss!
5. I was able to attend Marissa's sisters wedding at the SLC temple! It was an awesome experience! I am so grateful that I was able to be there for Sharee and Geoffrey's big day!

6. I got to hang out with Carrie and Daniel and enjoy a Mother's Day BBQ! Thanks guys for the invite and for the fun time playing Bang! Sorry I ducked out early!
Happy Mother's Day!!
I wanted to wish Mom a Happy Mother's Day! But then I was thinking and well there are many people I want to thank on this special day! So I am going to start from Wiser (older) to those still young!
First is Grandma! She is a great lady who has been a constant example to me of loving, honoring and supporting your husband! Even though she and grandpa had their struggles she loved him until the end of his life! Even when she couldn't remember much about anything else she still remembered him. Even when Grandpa was grouchy and sometime down right mean she still would point out that he was her husband and she married him!
Second is Mom! Oh my goodness I do not even know where to start! My Mom means the world to me! I honestly do not know where I would be if it weren't for Mom and her example to me! She is a hard worker, always willing to help anyone and everyone! She is constanly serving others! I know that it is because of her that I am the person I am today! She has always been supportive of me and the choices that I made! She is an example to me of pushing forward during trials and to always "BUCK UP" and Be Strong!! She is always there for me when I need to talk! I love knowing that I can call her anytime and she will just listen to me! I love laying in her room when I am in California and just sharing stories and talking!!
Lisa is an amazing Mom to Briggs! She and Karl waited so long for Briggs to arrive in their family and I like to say Briggs is one of my Mission Blessings! I was so happy the day I got the email saying that Lisa was pregnant and I remember telling everyone in Indiana how excited I was! I was so sad to be sent home on Medical Leave for 6weeks from Indiana until I realized I would be there for Briggs' blessing! Lisa is an example to me of perservation and patience!
Debbie has always been the one I have looked up to! I remember being younger and always looking to her as an example! Even though there is 5 years between us she has been one of my best friends! Debbie has been there for me through thick and thin! She has been supoprtive during the high school years, the college years, and she was one of the biggest supports during my mission! Debbie is funny and always willing to make me laugh when I am having a bad day! We have laughed together and cried together! She was my travel buddy to Hawaii, Disneyland, and so many other places! She is a great Momma to Conner and Tanner and a great example to me!
Tiffany is last by virtue of being the youngest! Tiffy is fantastic! There is times that I look at Tiffany and think of everything that she has been though and get a little dust in my eye! Tiffany has always been there for me! She was my Baby Doll! I love looking at pictures of her and me from when we were little! I am so lucky to have Tiffany in my family! She is one of my best friends and is always willing to help me! She is willing to pack up and drive to Utah with me during the Summer and hang out! She is constant comedic relief! She is so funny and makes me smile everyday! I know that if I was ever in a jam Tiffy would be there for me! She is a great Mommy to Marela and Gage and you can tell how much they love her and she loves them!
I am so grateful for each of these women and the example and love they show and share with me every single day!

We had the first handout of the "Golden Waffle", "Rose" AKA as the Huge Bottle of Apple Juice! Michael Torrie was the lucky recipient! The waffles were Banana Sour Cream Waffles! Michelle you are the best!!! I am going to be so sad to miss June Waffle Wednesdays! I am for sure going to be doing California Waffle Wednesdays with my family seeing as I have Zero California Friends but heck my Mom will love it!

Happy Birthday Tiffy!
I just wanted to wish Tiffy a very happy birthday! I am sad I couldn't be there for your big day! Hope that you had a great day! Tiffany is amazing! I am grateful to her for a lot of reasons, she is always making me laugh, she is willing to talk to me whenever I need someone to talk to, she teases me and makes me forget my problems! She has a good attitude even when she is faced with hard times, and most importantly she is and always will be my first Best Friend! Happy birthday to you don't do anything I wouldn't do!! Oh and get your butt back to Utah sometime soon to visit me! Love You!
No time to be bored!
A lot of people have asked if I am bored yet! The answer is I have hardly had time yet to be bored! I have done some hard core clothes shopping with a friend who is going on her mission soon, hung out and learned more about how to choose a good pair of running shoes than I ever knew existed, finally watched Back to the Future 2 (I am no longer as big a loser), and had the great opportunity to help with the Humanitarian Aid projects at Women's Conference! I will give a full recap of the service project later! I have no clue when or if I will ever be bored! But... for now I am having a lot of fun and looking forward to having some quality scrapbook time and of course LSAT study!
