Just Like Football!!!!

Tonight I went with Jerilyn, Jason and Mandy (Jerilyn's SLC friends) to the BYU vs UofU basketball game! Oh what a fun night it was! We had a great meal before hand and then headed to the game. Found a good parking sport after some positive thinking and found our seats. The game was great even if it was a blowout. Towards the end of the game the chants from the student section got pretty funny, and even better when misunderstood. You got swatted turned into you got slaughtered. ;) But our favorite of the night was the endless chant of JUST LIKE FOOTBALL! Oh yeah good times! Thanks for inviting me Jerilyn!

Box out and other basketball fun

On Thursday night there was a sports enrichment night, we learned about basketball and well it was a very interesting night! One of the girls in the ward taught the class and well she umm knows her stuff. I am so excited to sit at home and watch basketball all day and night now! ;) Funny thing is that Friday night was the broom-hockey and chili cook-off, and Jerilyn showed the proper technique for boxing out. Stick your butt out and use your God given gift. There is a video of her demonstrating which will be posted very soon! BUT, until then here are a few pictures of the proper way to box out!
