Painful Day and Good Day

So I am back in Utah for a little visit. I am so excited to be back and see all my friends I have really missed them! So Marissa asked me before I came back if I would go tubing with her stake from West Jordan yesterday morning. I had nothing better to do so I went along. I have no clue why but I did not apply my usual SPF5000 to my legs so the FRONT is lobster red! Sadly I can't wear shorts to prevent the rubing because it looks retarded! I am so dumb! Also who knew that from paddling with your arms that what we are now calling "Tube Rub" can occur. I don't know if my arms are ever going to be the same! Today was my 2nd Mission Presidents homecoming in Smithfield. It was so fun seeing him and his family! I realized today that it has been a long time since I got home from Indiana and had a sad Pity party for like 2mins! Tomorrow morning I have an interview at the court house for a job I am kinda freaking out about it hope that everything goes alright!

Mission Reunion

Last night was the mission reunion! Oh man what an interesting night! I have now been to at least 5 reunions and I have only been home 2 years! I can honestly say that the next Quist reunion I will be attending is when I have some "news" to share! So... I have a feeling it will be a long time! I will attend at least one of the Simmons' reunions, and see how they go! Here is a few pictures from last nights extravagansa!

Superbowl Champs!

Alright so my predicition of 34-21 Indianapolis was a little off! The final score was 29-17 but Indianapolis still won! Oh my goodness, I was a little worried when after 12 seconds the Bears had already scored and it looked as though it was going to be a long night! Luckily the Colts got it together and started playing like the Champions that they are! Debbie and Tiffany made it in to town this afternoon to get the buckets! It has been nice to have them around for the day! I am so sad that they are leaving me in the morning and going back to California while I am stuck here! Maybe I should just screw the whole thing and go home with them, who needs graduation??? I am sure mom and dad would be just fine with me coming home! ;) I WISH! I have a feeling some tears will be shed and Tiffany will probably laugh at me again! She is such a prostitute!

It is hard to believe that 2 years ago on the 20th of January 2005 my parents came to Indiana to pick me up from my mission! At times it feels like decades ago and at other times, I can still remember the last few days and weeks of my mission! I miss it soooo much! I wish somedays that I could just be back out in Indiana wearing my name tag and not worrying about school, and certain issues. Sometimes I think I would do it again in a heart beat, and then I start to think about the hard times, the times I just wanted to cry and sometimes did. I would not give back any of the hard times, because it is from those experiences that I am the person that I am today! My mission was/is a life changing experience and I am glad that I went! Heck, who knows only one more year and I can go again! hahahaha

Happy Birthday Rachel

Today is my Friend Rachel's 26th birthday! I can remember the first time we met in the good old MTC! She is a great person and has been told lately that she has a great personality, I would have to agree! Plus she has really good taste in Friends, I mean she chose me! ;) Seriously though, Rachel was my Companion in Indiana when I get sent home on medical leave and she was there when I got back! This is a picture of the two of us my last day in the mission before I went to the mission home to sleep for the night! She is smart, hard working and likes to have fun. Oh and most importantly she laughs at my jokes and recognizes how dang funny I am! Rachel I hope that you have a great 26th year and for sure Live it up! You deserve it!
